About Me
Hello! I'm Bianca, a former software engineer who transitioned into calligraphy four years ago. While my background in engineering will always be a part of me, the switch from code and numbers to the creativity of ink on paper has been very fulfilling. Calligraphy has given me a new outlet of creative freedom, and I'm excited to continue growing and expanding my work.
At the beginning of my calligraphy journey, I began with a simple brush pen and now use an oblique pen paired with a Nikko G nib. My early pieces weren’t perfect (you can check them out on Instagram!), but the admiration I had for other artists and the support from the calligraphy community kept me motivated to improve.
When I’m not creating, you’ll find me enjoying interior design, going for a run, or spending time with my dog, Chloe. I’m excited to bring my creative passion into every project.
